The Nitty Gritty:

I am a very gay 30-something year old with two (2) very small kids, ADHD, chronic pain and mental illness(es), who's currently about to start college again and fighting to get disability. My free time consists of two hours in the evening.

I do not have a consistent upload schedule for ANYTHING. I do this for the love of the game and I'm entirely dependent on the stars aligning for long enough to get ANYTHING done, so the policy is it comes out WHEN IT COMES OUT.

This is a NSFW blog. It's not for nsfw purposes, but nsfw stuff may appear from time to time. Follow at your own discretion. I do not veto who follows me. If you're a minor and I catch wind, I'll make sure not to interact with you in any nsfw way/about nsfw topics, but I DO NOT HAVE THE TIME to check everyone's bios/pinned/carrrd or whatever the fuck we're doing these days. So please use your own common sense there.

I'm currently DEEP in the ST/Byler fandom with no signs of the hyperfixation dying down anytime soon, so that's what I'm doing fic/podfic-wise at the moment. Other fandoms include Arcane, Good Omens, Project Hail Mary, Dragon Age, Baldur's Gate 3, ITSV and probably other stuff I'm forgetting.

I do NOT wanna hear a single reference to British Antisemitic Wizard Franchise by Worst Woman Alive in my blog.

Yes, I am in fact gearing up to podfic How To Disappear Completely by the iconic Peachstatic. This has garnered an amount of attention I did not anticipate, so I am making a small FAQ to avoid getting the same questions over and over again:

Q: Do you take collaborators to voice the different characters?

A: I am not currently looking to make this a multi-voice podfic, so I am not accepting collaborators. As stated above, my free time is extremely limited and this doesn't pair well with the sheer magnitude of coordinating a podfic with multiple collaborators, making sure everyone delivers on time, dealing with people suddenly dropping off the face of the Earth, and a myriad other factors that are at play in that kind of project. There are other reasons, like the fact that everyone has wildly different recording setups and the sound quality can vary vastly from one narrator to another, making the editing a very painstaking process with no guarantee as to the quality of the end result.

If this is disappointing news to you, I understand and you are absolutely welcome to reach out to peachstatic as well about recording your own multi-voice version of the podfic! They were extremely positive to my podficcing request, so do reach out to them!

Q: What will your upload schedule be?

A: Not to be extremely redundant, but for the same time constraints, I will not have a fixed upload schedule for this. The chapter length varies greatly from chapter to chapter, so that, as well as my own availability, will play a role in how often I'm able to update.
