I remember being a young child and loving Christmas! I couldn’t wait for Christmas morning to come to tear into the presents under the tree!
Those days are long gone. Now I can’t wait to see Christmas through the eyes of Penelope and Rowen. I love it when kids still believe in Santa Claus! Oh the innocence of a child. There isn’t anything more precious than a child. Especially a grandchild!

Today would be my best friends 19th birthday. She died a little over 3 months ago and everyday I miss her more and more. She was the definition of an amazing person. She wanted to help people more than anything and was going to school to do something involving medicine. She was there for me and never tried to give me false advice. She was straightforward and strong. She was the most beautiful girl I've ever known and she had the ability to make friends in an instant. I miss her so much and all I want is to know that she's ok, or happy somewhere. I want her back.
