Nostalgia and The Internet.
You know you're grown when you see your favorite shows from your teen years being tagged as #old and #classic and #vintage.
Granted, the average internet user regards things from five years ago, ancient, but still..
It doesn't help that the feeling that time is elastic has always been a thing for me. As in, what feels like yesterday sometimes can other times feel like too long ago.
It's that feeling people who are grieving someone feel. When you feel like every day they've been gone is too long, but it also feels like you just talked to them yesterday.
We are all grieving time, I guess. Grieving our days that have passed.
