Erron/Night wolf for the ship meme, since we talk about it
*Shoves Jin to the side* Oh lord, it’s happening. X’3 I’m not ready for this at all, but I’ll give it my best shot:
Who cries when someone dies in a movie – Erron, but only if it’s a dog that dies (if the humans die, he doesn’t even tear up). Nightwolf would most likely cry if he’s watching an incredibly moving theatre piece than a film.
Who wears the ugly holiday garb – None of them. Besides, Erron despises that nonsense although I’m sure he might reconsider if NW told him that he might look cute wearing ‘em.
Who pays for the meals – Stingy though he may be, Erron will wine and dine Nightwolf at the best steakhouses; if it’s anything like a cafe-made breakfast meals with high quality coffee, then Nightwolf.
Who slams the oven door and who plays the trombone – Neither, purely because Nightwolf ain’t having that kind of nonsense in his house (“Fond of him though I am, we cannot let ourselves sink to Johnny Cage’s level of immaturity”).
Who brings home stray animals – Both. I can imagine these two even going out together in their spare time to rescue stray animals and, if they’re injured, tend to their wounds. NW is especially keen on birds, while Erron gravitates more towards dogs. Needless to say, their home becomes quite the animal sanctuary.
Who leaves the bathroom door open – Neither. Erron is bound to catch NW’s hands if he tries to sneak a peek when the Earthrealm warrior’s in the shower.
Who tells the ‘dad jokes’ – Neither … unless Erron is taking jabs at the MK dads like Johnny and Kenshi, then yeah, he’s got some “dad jokes”, so to speak. Nightwolf is torn between laughing at them or just sighing.
Who wants kids more – Nightwolf might be daddy father material, but he’s in no rush to have children of his own. As for Erron, children of the furry kind are enough.
Who travels more – Let’s pretend NW ain’t a revenant for a second Both: owing to his job as a historian, NW tends to be travelling all over North America to gather research, give lectures and guest-curate at various Native Americans museums; as for his other half, Erron is still working for the Kahn in a more stable Outworld environment, while carrying out some contract jobs on the side.
Who spends more cash – I’m torn on this: it’s either Erron – but only if it’s for things like ammunition, which doesn’t come cheap when it’s for his vintage revolvers (not to mention the steakhouses are expensive) – or Nightwolf, who probably has to spend a fair amount for priceless historical objects and antiques.
Who buys the things in infomercials – “But Greeeey, I’ve just gotta have that thingamajig that sucks up dust off the floor –” “It is called a vacuum cleaner, Erron, and we already have three.”
Who draws in the dust on their cars – Erron. Nightwolf doesn’t mind, if it means keeping the cowboy busy for once in his life. Now if only he can get Erron to actually wash the damn car …
Who starts the snowball fights – Erron, if he’s feeling playful. NW would prefer making snowmen, but if Erron tries chucking snowballs at them, then the fight is on.
Who throws away the directions to things – Guess who? “Tell me, Erron, why did you throw away the directions?” “I don’t need a sheet of paper to tell me what to do.” “And yet you wonder why this country of ours has gone to the dogs.”
Who puts up holiday decor – Nightwolf. He’d be setting up all the ornaments and heritage symbols in keeping with Native American Christmas traditions. And he’d have a “jolly” (read: helluva grumpy) helper to assist him.
Who is more likely to forget to bathe – Neither. NW and Erron aren’t afraid to get dirty, but they’re not about the unhygienic life.
Who gets more obsessed about things – Probably Erron when it comes to material possessions; if it’s about upholding values, traditions and representation, then NW.
Who sings in the shower more often – Erron, for sure. If NW’s in hearing distance, I’m sure he’d smile and/or hum along.
