Hiiii I wanna know 🎉 ✅ ⌛ :)
🎉 What leads you to consider a fic a success?
hmmm this is such a difficult question to answer?? i think enjoying my own work is def the most important part, sometimes i'll write something and not want to reread it ever again (the two final chapters of loudmouth can die in a ditch for all i care lmao) and then sometimes i'll write something and reread several times and be so heart eyes over it so yeah i'd say that's the biggest one but knowing people enjoy reading it as well is such an endorphine boost lmao especially when it comes from people i admire and/or opinions i value a lot. (which... i wasn't going to tag anyone bc that's corny as hell but whateverrrr i'd def say you, camila, but also @rosharanfiction @68saturnism @trulyourslola @time-for-my-weekly-spanking @mrsnanamiller @wildthyng @cinnxmxngxrl @cozymochaa & some other peeps as well!!!)
✅ What's something that appears in your fics over and over and over again, even if you don't mean to?
i'm not sure about, like, tropes i reuse and things like that but i know my characters curse a lot (they take it after their mama i guess), i'm always having to go back during revisions and remove some cursing lol
⌛ How long does it take you to write a fic, or a chapter?
depends a lot on how inspired i am, and how my personal life is. i usually write in the mornings/afternoons at work so if work is chill i write a lot more. andddd being inspired helps too, it usually takes me about a week/week and a half to write a chapter (most of them around 4k words), but if i'm going a one shot it can go well over a month.
