National Cherry Popover Day - September 1

A lazy Sunday at home and the knowledge that popovers usually aren't pre-made but served puffy right out of the oven led me to believe I could search high and low but would not be successful in finding a cherry popover.

A popover is a very light, hollow muffin made with eggs, milk, and flour.  The ingredients are usually already in your kitchen.  There are popover pans BUT it's not really something you need.  I used a regular muffin pan and they turned out beautifully.  Filled with a couple spoonfuls of cherry pie filling and yum!  Great end to the day...
