Request Ask, loosely based on a thing I had an RP for: Kankri is a priest, the next character of your choice is a faerie, and Kankri poorly attempts to banish them from church grounds that were once fae territory.

“I’m not leaving.”

Kankri stomps his foot and glares angrily at Sollux, who’s still sitting in one of the pews, smirking like the little shit he is. Just barely visible in the low light filtering through the stained-glass windows, bee-like wings spread from Sollux’s back and flutter lightly to match his amusement. “This is my church!” Kankri splutters, still holding onto the once-full vial of holy water and salt that he’d been using to purify the church grounds.   “Too bad, I was here first.” Sollux said, raising a brow over his glasses. “And by the way, even if this wasn’t my property to begin with, table salt is useless against fae. Just saying.”

Kankri gives an angry screech.

Artist asks! Number nine?

9. On days that I don’t feel like drawing I’d at least do a doodle or 2 and that would take up 30 mins from my whole day but on Extreme Hyper-Focus days I’d spend hours just drawing and erasing over and over (occassionaly I’d save a drawing i like) until i’m too tired or i get bored and go back to playing monster hunter/chatting with people/sleeping haha

Mythical creature vibes? Definitely selkie, or some kind of sea serpent. Maybe a sea serpent that can become a person.

That would probably be a lot more accurate if I lived anywhere near a body of water (good for swimming anyway).

I’ve suddenly been taken back to the year or two after high school where I was writing without any sort of promise for money. This is a good vibe yo.

Heya! Weighing in as another follower of Set since I saw that post about not being able to relate to the desert thing, and living on a tropical island myself. Have you considered it might be internal or personal? Maybe a certain barrenness in the *way* you live rather than the physical indicators? I'm not sure how that would work out for you personally, though. Hope you figure it out and have a good day!

Hey! I don’t know how long this has been in my inbox so I apologize deeply for this being late. 

It might be. I’ve had chronic depression and OCD for the longest time. Recent exploration into therapy centers around my area and their pages on PTSD show me I likely have Chronic PTSD as well.

But I just know from experiencing a week in an arid climate like Morocco and most of my life here in Miami that living in a desert full time is way different than the climate here. It’s the weather, the animal life, the plants that grow there, and even the personality of the land. I can’t relate fully.
