#chevron wall

I REALLLLLY wanna do a Chevron wall in our bedroom. I'm not the most artistic person, unless I REALLLY take my time, but I do have the patience for it.

Erik.... Erik would just blow the whole house down if he tried to do it with me, & obviously one of use would die. LOL.

So, looks like it's all gonna be me. Hahaha. Or give my husband the magic "work juice"... BEER :P It's honestly just the taping & measuring that would take a million years

Our Chevron Wall! Thanks for my friends for their help marking the wall :)

To create this awesome feature in our home we first measured and used a laser light to mark dots on each point. Web decided we wanted roughly 12 stripes, so we began by marking each point for how wide we wanted them, we wanted them 8” wide.

Using a laser level, we marked points for each row 2 feet apart. Once we had the whole row marked, we taped from point to point. This took a lot of tape! We used the green frog tape.

Once we had the wall taped and made sure all of it was down well. We painted our second color in the stripes. After 24 hrs we removed the tape and there she is! I have to say, it is one of my favorite features of our new home… Worth every second of time it took! Thanks to my friends for helping!
