This weekend, specifically on Sunday, I go pick up my new ride. My dream. The van I’ve been waiting for. A beauty, all on her own. She’s an ‘87 Chevy SportVan G20. I can’t wait to begin my adventures.

I actually really love our van, I never thought I would say that I prefer this 1986 chevy g20 over our beautiful 1984 westfalia that we had, but I really do :)
can you see jamals head and see him staring at me?
we really need to build it out properly instead of using totes! van life would be soooooo much easier without running a t-shirt business with hundreds of shirts and pins and packaging material in the van, but because both me and shawn are minimalists and can fit all our clothes in a backpack and dont own much stuff, the majority of our storage will be for t-shirts and we are able to make it work! plus the shirts never get dirty or anything so nothing to worry about there

The first night I got her.. Ft. Meyer Florida
I’d been looking for a 4x4 van for years, bought a one way ticket to Ft. Meyer, spent the first night there in a hotel, bought the van the next day... NO more hotels form there on out.
WE went out and partied in Ft. Meyer that night. I parked my car behind the ice cream shop in a dirt lot.
The owners name was Wanda, we couldn’t find anywhere to sleep in that town until we ran into her. She was super cool, said no worries, go have a blast, and told us where to eat breakfast the next morning. We thanked her and I told her I was going to name the van after her, and I did.
The Wanda - er was born.
