maia drove up to the garage after having called earlier to see if they could see a car as old as hers. it was dirt cheap when she bought it and it took two years for it to finally drive like garbage. so, maybe it was time for an upgrade or maybe just a really good mechanic. she got out of her car, nervously picking at the rust before heading to find the girl she spoke to earlier, ‘hi, hey. we spoke on the phone earlier, right? i’m the idiot driving a ‘89. please help, it’s.. making a noise and i don’t know cars at all.’
