[Regina blinks. That last part was a bit jumbled, there Yuuta. Nonetheless, Regina smiles and leans in.] I'm glad that my work is appreciated then. [Quickly leans in closer for a peck on the lips before straightening up and turning away. You don't see that flush. Not at all.]

You've been busy too, haven't you? Balancing schoolwork and your job can't be easy. Thank you for your hard work as well, Boss. [A teasing salute.]

Ah. [Looks sheepishly at the cans surrounding her] Maybe... not quite enough, I hope.

[Blinks and flushes a bit - was she so obvious? - and takes the pudding.] Thank you, Yuuta. Ah - here. Have a seat. [Clears off some cans and brushes off a spare office chair.] There we are. How have you been?

-knocks on door to engineer's room- Hey, Regina? Power Joe wanted me to give you some reports he was working on. Also he gave me pudding.

[Blinks and looks up from her work - there are cans of instant coffee and tea surrounding her - whoops. So maybe she hasn't gone home in a while.] Hello, Yuuta - ah, finally. I've been waiting on him for a while now.... 

... Pudding? [Tries not to sound too interested.]

Oh..alright. -blinks at, thinking- I didn’t— oh. yeah. that. I guess it was pretty dangerous but i didn’t want… ah. -mumbles- thanks… Are the repairs going alright? :c you look a little tired.

[Briefly smiles at] The repairs are going as well as they can. Mr. Toudou and I should be done soon. There were a lot of parts that we needed to fully replace - which is why this is taking so long, really. All this waiting time for the parts to arrive. 

I'm fine. Tired? Yes, but nothing terrible. I've been trying to balance three projects at once - which reminds me, Yuuta I had something to ask you. I've finalized the data from Duke's taste testing and I'd wanted to present it to you for Deckerd's creation date but ah. I suppose I'd forgotten. Better late then never, I suppose, but here. [Hands over a disk] We can add the extra components in Deckerd's body, but the program will have to be installed after his AI is reinserted. I think you'd be better suited for the task of downloading it.

[She looks to Yuuta, frowning.] Don't apologize. This wasn't your fault, Yuuta. [Collapses into a chair and folds her hands in front of her, elbows on desk.] I heard you'd tried your best. I'd berate you for putting yourself in danger, but that's what your bravery is for, I suppose. 

You did well, Yuuta. I'm not mad at you or anyone other than the creator of that mecha. [Except for maybe herself, but that's rather hypocritical.] That, I can assure you of.
