Do you live in a city 🏙️, a suburb 🏡 or a rural 👩🌾 area? We live 10 minutes from downtown Seattle. Our neighborhood has mostly single-family homes, but in the past decade, 🏬 apartments, condos & 🏘️multi-unit homes have been built to increase the population density. 👷♀️ Twenty five minutes away, my friend @lindacriddle lives on a 10-acre farm with a beautiful lake, 🚣♀️ goats, 🐐chickens, 🐓sheep 🐑 & COWS, 🐮plus all sorts of crops (fruit trees, berries, flowers & veggies). I hadn’t seen her since around the lockdown in 2020. In 2020 Linda was living on the farm in a 10 x 20 feet (3.05 x 6.10m) tiny house. 🚞 Since then, she moved into the main house where there's lots of space. Now she also has more kinds of chickens. 🐔She has an incubator where eggs are kept warm, 🥚 and a few weeks later, voilà! Baby chicks! 🐣 Right now there are 20 chicks & a large hen in a special chicken coop where the temperature is around 90 degrees (32.2c).🌡️ It’s warm & cozy. A small herd of goats follow Linda everywhere. They’re friendly & cute & nibble on everything including my shoelaces. 👟 We took a farm vehicle 🚜 from one end of the farm to another & the goats were never far behind. Farm life is a 24/7/365 ⏰ endeavor, but the rewards are plentiful. I couldn’t do it but I I’m sure glad Linda can. I love visiting.❤️ Do you like the city, 🏗️ country 🌳 or something in between? PS: Thanks to all who have supported my Indiegogo campaign. I posted a video, 🎥 which is not great.
