Hey, people with visible tattoos!
I'm gonna get a little preachy on you for a minute. It's warming up outside and we're all letting a little more skin show. Unless you want crappy, faded tattoos in a few years, you need to put sunscreen on any tattoo that isn't covered by your clothing.
Every day. Yes, every single day.
If you don't put sunscreen on your tattoos, you will end up looking like that weird old person at Disney World with the Tweety Bird tattoo that looks like its being reabsorbed by their body. Putting sunscreen on your tattoos will keep your lines bold and your colors bright.
Good news! After years of trial and error trying to find the best every day sunscreen to put on my tattoos I finally found the perfect thing: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B072L785ZN
Here are the reasons you should buy this stuff:
It's easy. It takes me the same amount of time to swipe this on my tattoos as it does for me to put on deodorant.
It doesn't smell like sunscreen and doesn't look like sunscreen. It doesn't really smell like anything. It doesn't give your skin a greasy glow.
It costs $9 and goes on thin, so it'll probably last you at least through the summer. How much did you pay for your tattoos? Exactly. Spend $9 to keep them looking fresh.
It goes on clear! Seriously! Every other sunscreen (even the liquid Ultra Sheer) leaves a white haze over my tattoos which makes them look faded and cloudy.
It doesn't get on my clothes. I put this stuff on before I do my makeup and by the time I get dressed it's totally absorbed. In fact, I put this on when I was already dressed the other day and just rubbed it in quickly with my hand and it still didn't leave a mark on my shirt. Considering the placement of a lot of my tattoos (pictured), this is a big one.
Go invest a whopping nine dollars and keep your tattoos looking new. You'll thank me later.
