EP: 1. Genre: Pop/Grunge
"Old Yeller" By Childish Japes, Dave Vives
"Drowning the ghost by swimming in static
My tainted breath in fire lungs
I swear that I don't feel anything but safe
So run your fingers over these hands
And tell me a story"
I genuinely cannot recommend this entire album enough. The instrumentals make me captivated throughout each song, and the vocals make me feel like screaming out my heart.
Each song throughout the album is different, and you can hear the band experiment with their sound while also maintaining that amazing feeling.
This is the longest song in the whole album, so if you don't like long songs, I wholeheartedly recommend trying a different one on the album, For example "Something Else."
idk how many members of childish japes wrote well done, but imma call out the man of the evening (dave vives for those not following along live) bc he sang em
did we like live the same life? bc i have never ever ever heard someone so specifically describe the specific feeling of the switch going off and everything clicking into place and realizing youre in some type of abusive relationship. thats at least how i interpret it. i love how i say that like this guy is gonna be on tumblr looking at a kid crossfaded as fuck spamming about him. anyways stream salamander by childish japes

Drumeo – How To Play With A Bass Player – Drum Lesson Bass players are essentially the other half to the rhythm section in any band. It's important for us drummers to develop a deep musical connection with them if we want the rest of the band to feel comfortable.
