At yesterday's STEAM Discovery Kit Workshop, our kids had the opportunity to sample ALL of our kits!

STEAM Discovery Kits are available to check out at many branches of the New York Public Library system (including the Kingsbridge branch!) You can learn more about these kits and which libraries have them on the NYPL website.

Want to R.E.A.D. to Tyler?

On Monday afternoons, a therapy dog named Tyler visits our library for a program called R.E.A.D. to a New York Therapy Dog. Kids ages 5-12 can register for an appointment to read to Tyler!

What Do Library Staff Do All Day?

We use our 3D printer to create some cool creatures that were designed by our kids!

Kids who attend our 3D printing programs come up with their own designs, and then it takes the printer several hours to print out each one. So every time we have one of these programs, for the next several days the Children's office is filled with weird musical humming and chirping noises as it prints out each design.
