At today's RIGAMAJIG program, kids played with all different kinds of wood and plastic pieces to create different structures and shapes!
But in the eyes of this intrepid librarian, it was the addition of the GEEMO to the mix that made things EXTRA weird. Sure, they're made of rubber [oops, excuse me, not rubber but "recyclable elastomer"] and magnets, but they feel like ... I dunno ... something alien!
Anyway, hooray for STEM, hooray for STEAM, and OMG --
WHAT
IS
THAT???
It turns out that Geemo is advertised as "a new species of toy."
Which makes a LOT of sense!!!
