Good morning, beautiful world! Look, what I found yesterday when I was clearing out my “art room” — this is a selection of paintings I did as a 6 year old child! To my surprise, it’s all there already — my love for animals and excitement (the firemen at work!!), the bold colours, the movement and dynamics of the moment! . Somehow, looking at these pictures, I’m amazed how familiar I felt with that little girl that had expressed her feelings so freely, long before she started to look for inspiration and guidance in other places! . Looking back, it seems I had to take many detours in my life in order to arrive what’s near! Today I feel a lot of unconditional love for that younger version of myself! I trust that everything I need in order to be an artist is already within — all I have to do is uncover it, layer after layer, until I find the source! . I guess that’s true for most of us! All you need to do is keep digging!
