baby’s breath: about how many fics have you completed?
oh man, oh man, oh man. Uh. In the phandom alone, it’s 106 not including askfics that I’ve written and done collections for, and then looking back on my time in the Kpop fandom Super Junior I wrote another approximately 92 as I’ve lost a good portion of one of the challenges I did so I’m estimating I wrote 20 of them. And then, we can also go as far back as when I wrote for the Naruto fandom, which has another 20 fics, and then a miscellaneous 9 fics that were a mismash of fandoms I was doing things for at one time.
So, in total, I’ve written and posted about 227 completed fanfictions :)
orchid: do you prefer to write one shots or multi part fics?
I, ironically, prefer multi part fics because I can do so much more world building with them, and that’s one of the most exciting parts for me. I’m better at oneshots though hahahah because I can write them so much faster, and I get to experiment with writing styles, so I tend to produce them easier, but multi part fics give me so much excitement and joy to work on.
AU, definitely. We already lived canon, and while I love reality based fics, sometimes they get repetitive with people competing on who can make their fic more close to the truth than others when repeating canon. I love writing AU because I get to make so much MORE out of what already exists, and create worlds that we haven’t lived in yet, which just brings me so much endless joy!!
