Chimali/Nereo Tonuauc. Immortal. Aztec era vampire.

a warrior in prehispanic colonized mexica. in love with the princess citlali who was taken from him by spaniards. he asked any god that would listen for the ability to take revenge. huitzilopochtli heard his cries for war and made nereo an immortal, that desired blood sacrifice as his vessel. in the modern world, he is considered a vampire. while he does feed, it is not on blood, but on souls that are sacrificed to him.

the war for him ended, his heartbreak no longer an open wound over after centuries. he found his home in guanajuato. at this point in time, he spends the grand majority of his life time in mexico. it isn’t until the 1970′s that he decided to peruse through the rest of the world. he quickly loses interest in europe, his hatred for the ones that killed his ancestors, his family, and his beloved resurfacing. a short killing spree occurs before he leaves back to the united states. he wanders between california, texas, and mexico. feeling most at home with his own people. border towns being his favorite because he can use the spanish that he’d learned, after his native tongue died out.

Vicente Cervera. 36 yrs old. modern era.

a dreamer, of sorts, born in ahuacatlán, nayarit, mexico but raised in underprivileged america. calling los angeles home for the majority of his life. unaware to himself, he had died. his mother brought him back from the dead, begging Mictlāntēcutli for her son. but it was Mictēcacihuātl who heard her cries. much to the surprise of his father, who had let him die. paloma was a vengeful woman. she traded her ex husband’s soul for her son’s.

vic is now betwixt. for a soul that has seen the other side, will always see it. he can see the dead and the demonic. in the modern world, Mictēcacihuātl is ‘la santa muerte’ which is who his mother prayed to. while he has no memory of any of this, his faith for la santa muerte is strong. his connection to the spirit world has made his career as an fbi agent quite successful, being able to find bodies with ease.

he left the fbi on his 35th birthday. tired of the way they treated marginalized people and the focus on white america. he left to become a park ranger in santa fe national forest, but he resides part time in pecos, new mexico. he also does search and rescue when the border patrol is short staffed. while, he would never be a border boot licker, he does feel for the lost souls and believes they deserve burial and identification. he keeps a prayer book with names of the ones identified so that their souls can cross to Mictlān.

vic and his cousins opened a boxing club in pecos with his cousin omar. later, his cousin rodrigo moves after leaving gang life in LA to open his dream, a taco truck with aguas frescas outside of the gym.

side note: his history with death has a whole plot but i only include it when i deem necessary. i also used to have an orpheus & eurydice vibe but that’s a whole diff enchilada.

Andreas Valencia. 26. Snoqualmie, Washington.

In the year 1998, sometimes 1996, depending on who you ask, Andreas Isidro Valencia was born. In the Oyamel Forest of Michoacan, Mexico. His mother, Alma Gardoqui-Valencia, is a scream queen actress with many credits in both Mexican and American cinema. She has an affinity for the horror genre. One of the most well known actresses of her time, especially as a woman of color. His biological father remains a mystery, as Alma never disclosed with anyone the identity. Roman Valencia, a respected Mexican-American politician, took on the father role for Andre.

Roman is a second generation "American" born Mexican. He fought his way up the ladder of politics in Los Angeles. There he met the Hollywood beauty, Alma. It was seen as a controversy on both sides; a Mexican politician's daughter turned horror actress that mothered a bastard marrying a nobody turned politician? A scandal in the latino community.

Enter Andreas: Mexican born with American citizenship thanks to his step father's sponsorship. Normal childhood, perfectly polished. Teenage rebellion didn't steer from the typical. He learned to make costumes, always taking an interest in the creative side of theater and movie sets. His interest piqued in fashion as he grew up and became more appealing to designers as a model. Nepotism could be to blame but Andre felt he earned what he got. The gigs were fun but it was his designs that started to shine.

It was his up and coming muse, Karis, that really got his name in the industry of design. They helped each other out in the beginning of their careers. He starred in her music videos and she wore his designs everywhere. Karis became his muse for his wedding gowns, lingerie, and costume designs. The lingerie he designed became popular in the night world: burlesque, drag, and exotic dancers. Queens from all around the world started to commission him. Another controversy for the scandalous politician's step son.

The next step came naturally. Andreas designed his own costumes for his private dances. He became an exotic dancer and broke the internet when he starred in an onlyfans video with a well known makeup guru, Thalia Quezada. Shocked at his own popularity and the revenue Thalia made off one video, he made his own onlyfans. Unlike most "influencers" he doesn't post often. His focus remains on his designs and creating fashion looks for his muses. He prefers music videos and red carpet looks, the occasional onlyfans video, and going back home to mexico.

side note: he has lore in the emerald estate, the home he grew up in but i leave that for ppl interested in spn vibes. long story short: his aunt goes missing in the forest behind the lavender fields of his house. the forest is a demonic portal.
