IT'S BEEN A WHILE, HASN'T IT? yeah, i haven't updated this comic in nearly a year. But since BFB is splitting into two shows, I figured there's no time like the present to finally kill this comic and be done with it. There's going to be one page every day until April 17 (the release date of BFB 17)!! This time for real, and not like the many times I've said a comic page was coming """soon""" and then not updating at all. More information about the comic's creation, process and demise coming in the next few days! :] Also this page took me eight hours when it used to take me two i am SUFFERING

we're almost there!

This page probably won't do the characters in BFB justice, but I'm proud of it nonetheless. There were still a lot of plot points and character arcs that I would've put in the comic if I had the discipline to sit down and make them happen. But I realised that making a long-term comic for characters that aren't even my own isn't what I wanted to do. While I still really enjoy watching BFB and object shows causally, I'm not as involved or engaged with the community as much as I used to be. Simply put, I don't consider myself in the fandom anymore. This is the second-last part of the comic, so I'll save the rest of the ramble for later. For now you should be aware that the last word said in this comic is "ah"

Next up is Calculator, whose human design is also my minecraft skin. She's also made for the comic and doesn't get much screentime in *project i'm planning*, but I want to do more with her character! She's very studious and hardworking, regularly passing her classes with flying colours. While she's usually seen as an obedient student who follows the rules, she also doesn't keep quiet if she senses something wrong with said rules (which is why she helped her friends get a hall pass to sneak into the classroom here). She also tends to be a bit long-winded, using an extensive vocabulary while conversing with her acquaintances. Before I got burnt out on this comic, I wanted to redo the first 20-30 pages to fix up the out-of-character moments and get rid of the weirder elements of the story. The first page was going to feature Calculator discovering the EXIT and Bracelety's elimination, instead of the very bad and strange number things that don't even have continuity intercepting her. This page is kind of a reference to that, as I see her as possibly being kind of an older sister figure to Bracelety. There's a lot of these references I put in the comic that nobody except me would get, since they involve unfinished story arcs and/or plots that were only left in the planning stage.

In all honestly I really don’t mind the lack of BFB 13! It means more freedom to do whatever I like with the existing characters in comic! and also i get to insert more of my trashy oc content.

My original characters probably won’t take over the comic. I hope. Same with Liy.

oooh wHAT’S THIS?!?!?! A COMIC PAGE??? yaaay i finally made a new page! Sorry for the extended unannounced hiatus, I’ll try to have a better schedule...

Also, this page now has the largest file size of any of my pages. I’m pretty proud of how far this has come!!
