Need a little help.

So my chinchilla had a ball bearing bottle for awhile. I didn't like it because it leaked a lot on the floor of his cage and made the spot around it gross. Now he has one where he pushes a thing inside the nozzle to get water. But for some reason he started to get wet from this one. His chest is now usually damp and I try to dry it off and let him go in his dust more often while I try to get a new bottle and junk. Long story short though... Does anyone have good advice for what brand and bottle type for him would work?? I would really appreciate it. One that doesn't leak much and wouldn't get all over him when he drinks. I'm asking my dad to get me a ball bearing one from Walmart cause at least Chico doesn't get really wet with those.

I woke up to take Chico out and he seems to have gotten wet somehow, maybe from his water(the fur looks a bit off and doesn't feel soft). It's an extremely small spot but what do I do about it? Would like to know also for future incidents if he gets anymore.

If anyone has ANY experience with chinchillas, could you please give me some information on them and what it's like to own one? I want to get a pet sometime next year and I still don't know if I want a dog, chinchilla or a rabbit.

Can anyone explain to me why he does this? He does it quite often and I can't find a clear answer online either...sometimes will do it to my leg or foot and nibble or bite too.
