The "name show after protagonist(s)" shtick seems to work better the more out of the ordinary the name(s) are. I would argue that titles like "Steven Universe" and "Pig Goat Banana Cricket" at least prompt some inquiry, whereas titles like "Apple and Onion" or "Pickle and Peanut" end up sounding mundane in comparison. It doesn't help that they're both boil down to "Characters X and Y cause mischief in a sitcom-ish setting."

steven universe works well because the main character is charming in a way, which makes him more memorable even to people who have only heard of the show. ive never watched pig goat banana cricket but to me it just seems like they pulled four nouns out of a hat and decided to make a cartoon.

For our sake, what mods are you using?

A mod called Enhanced Character Edit and all the things it’s dependant on. Ontop of that I’m using a mod for that mod called Enhanced Character Edit - More Body Sliders so I can TRULY fuck it up.

There’s also the Hokuto Shinken mod I got from the Steam Workshop and Hokuto no Ken Sentoo combat music.

I did some research into this. If I remember correctly it’s a detective show or something, the guy in the gif’s named Cook, and he’s actually screaming “I’m Cook!” Honestly didn’t make it any clearer.

Yeah I think a big issue at this point is that with all the normal-looking gems up to this point, it’ll be really hard for them to introduce designs that are less humanoid without seeming REALLY out of place, which seems kinda bad in terms of design variety.

yeah i think thats why aquamarine is hitting a lot of people hard, i know a lot of people are drawing her and are rly happy with it but im gonna go ahead and say that its a fucking easy design to draw of course yall are happy, SHE AINT EVEN GOT A NECK WHO HAS TO CARE ABOUT ANATOMY??? lol

but on a serious note she does look NOT humanoid and it just looks extremely out ofplace cause we have literally not seen ANY gems that dont look humanoid, even in the background of the answer the gems all looked vaguely human, sapphire was a start but not enough, topaz looks fine so im just hoping that she lives up to the expectation, and as for aquamarine ................not rly looking forward to her appearance but whatever
