He's home guys! He's home. We really needed a win. So overwhelmed. It's a weird story. Short version, met the people who stole him at animal cotrol in Gulf Port. The have a house a few blocks away from us AND in Gulf Port. He ran away from them there, was found and turned ito Animal Control who read his chip and called us. But yeah, the thieves were literally there to get him at the same damn time. THEY GAVE US THEIR NAME ADDRESS AND PHONE NUMBER LIKE WE'D BE FRIENDS. Hell. No. They aren't blind, they've seen the posters. A responsible person who finds a dog and has their chip read. They did take him to the the vet but specifically did not ask the vet to scan for a chip and the vet did not volunteer to do so. So at leasy he's been taken care of and not living in the streets or worse, forced to fight for sport. Just glad to have him home!
