Chip: I gave her a skewed story about adam beast but gave her the full details about having the texts of the drop off to bastien and the name beast and his relationship with declan. Maddy did not show any sign of surprise at all. Like she already knew. Not the beast name, but the rest. Said he was manipulating bastien too. She actually said they were friends, or at least he acted like they were. Even saved Bastien's life somehow. I didn't ask for the story. But, sounds like that's a dead end worry. Maddy said he was working alone as far as she's concerned. It's clear whatever it was they'd talked about it.
