tattoos & piercings
tattoos: how do you feel about tattoos and piercings? explain.
Not for me personally, for the following reasons:
I’m a weenie and dislike pain
I’m constantly changing and not really defined by anything in particular and would rather represent myself as I am in the moment, temporarily (w/henna, gel pens, temp tattoos, etc), than as I was at other points in my life, permanently (tattoos)
I don’t want to clean/take care of a piercing and I’m scared I’ll lose earrings and/or just not wear them at all (because I’m scared of losing or breaking them) (earrings)
I personally don’t care if other people have them. Not hurting me any.
piercings: do you wear a lot of makeup? why/why not?
I almost never wear makeup outside of special occasions, parties, and job interviews. These are situations in which I feel more pressure to be “presentable” by the standard definition of that term for women, which implies foundation at the very least. I almost always get nothing out of it personally (unless my skin is bad and I’m feeling self-conscious, or if I just want to feel attractive for some reason) and I don’t enjoy how makeup makes my skin feel. Mascara and eyeshadow tend to irritate my eyes. Eyeliner is too difficult to put on and I have no motivation to get better at applying it. Lipstick feels gross and rubs off on everything. And all of them are ridiculously expensive to boot.
Cosplay is about the only situation in which I wear makeup willingly, for the sake of the costume.

12. Most bizarre game you’ve ever played?
well seeing as I used to play rpgmaker horror games, there are some that are right up there. Middens, for example, is strange as shit. And I say that both from a conceptual perspective and a design perspective, as in it is an oddly made game with a tone that’s fairly inconsistent beyond just being psychedelic and weird, with controls that are sometimes sticky and laggy and other times fairly responsive and you can’t tell if it’s on purpose or not, you get the gist. As far as story goes, I guess it’s nice in that it’s doing that whole “feel bad/be punished for committing murder” thing that Undertale does, albeit without any sense of coherency or attachment to characters. Idk. I have mixed feelings. Weird shit. Mortis Ghost has also made some strange things (e.g. “There Is A Picture”).
13. Scariest game you’ve played?
Ok so my thing with horror games is that I tend to get sort of blase about them if I spend enough time dying in the same ways, so that rules out a lot of stuff I’ve played (including the stuff I’ve played recently, The Night That Speaks and Amnesia). For just sheer levels of disturbing, one that’s really stuck with me is “Covetous”, a short and incredibly unsettling flash game about a parasitic twin that steadily devours its sibling in order to live. Torn between recommending for sheer effect, or not recommending because…damn.

55: How would your parents react if you got a tattoo?
i honestly am not sure?? my mom would probably be conflicted between bodily autonomy and “but it’s permanent” and my dad would likely be slightly dissapointed but not admit it
@Eris
Yes ma'am. And I was trying to figure out if there was anything nearby for me to grab, and of I would have time.
