Hi! I was wondering if you had any recommendations for dramas with a strong female lead... Since Save Me and Just Between Lovers I tried some who promised a strong heroine in the synopsis, only to be utterly disappointed (*coughs* Black *coughs* Hwayugi), and I trust your taste from your reviews! Mother is already on my list (but I'll wait after my exams since it looks very emotionally charged haha), and the genre doesn't matter, I just want a strong woman :') Thank you, have a nice day/evening!

Save Me and Just Between Lovers are excellent choices, and I’m glad you enjoyed them! Mother should definitely be on your list--so many ladies!--even though it can be emotionally taxing to get through.

Off the top of my head, I would recommend Arang and the Magistrate, Healer, I Hear Your Voice, Queen In-hyun’s Man, Secret Love Affair, and Heard It Through the Grapevine.

What do you mean "nearly killed by a giraffe" I'm so curious???

Oh, no way. Surely I’ve shared this story before???

No???

OK THEN.

So, I am the first person for two generations on either side to be born in England, as the two generations before had been born in India and southern Africa. Because of this, I had a couple of childhood trips to see relatives in my early years. This particular... event... happened during one of these trips. For this one, we were vising mum’s mother in South Africa, and then travelling to Zimbabwe to visit her father - I was around 4/5 at the time. And as we were visiting my plane (obviously), we had to take a coach to travel between the two.

So travelling between South Africa and Zimbabwe takes tie, and as such the coach my mum and I were taking had to take a couple of breaks on the way. One of these was to a roadside cafe, where we could grab a drink and a snack, and stretch our legs. 

Mum and I took our drinks into the ‘garden’ area of the cafe, and on the other side of the chain link fence was a giraffe. Now, me being an animal-loving four-year-old, I decided to go a little closer in order to say hello to the giraffe. Like, we were nowhere near a safari park or anything, there was a town nearby so it didn’t seem to be a properly ‘wild’ one. 

The next thing I knew, the chain link fence was broken and there was a now-very-angry giraffe coming my way. I turn and run, and mum is running over to me too (although I don’t remember that part) - and I trip. Thankfully mum had reached me at this point because she grabbed me and ran like hell the last few meters into the cafe. 

As it turns out, the moment that turned me against giraffes was a case of wrong place, wrong time. The giraffe was being treated by a local vet, and the local kids had reportedly been visiting only to throw stones at the poor thing. So it essentially saw me, a child, approaching it and thought I was going to throw stones too. I was just the unlucky child whose appearance caused it to snap.

And there it is, lads - the story of how I was almost killed by a giraffe.

A Happy Birthday drawing for Chitsuu with the JjooMin couple (her Lee Seo Joon aka Jjongie the pink hair guy and my Jimin in green) ice skating ting it’s actually not the season to do ice skating outside anymore but the figure skating season just ended a few weeks ago and I was just so into it. So it’s not surprising to see the procouchpotatoer Jimin struggling to follower the happy go lucky Jjongie who’s a dancer. I’m happy with how the colours turned out even though i wish i had done a better job at inking it ><

So it’s about Jimin and @chitsuu Lee Seo Joon (aka Jjoongie) we call them Joomin XD. We created them for a contest on AllFanarts and amazingly without any prior plan they happened matched so well as if they were created by the same person (it’s so weird how we’re always in sync ><) Anyway for the last round we had to draw a strip and obviously we did it on them so @chitsuu did the first part (go check it)(the stories are linked but also independant) and i did the second (+ a bonus from Byeol’s (Jimin’s cat) point of view) ;)
