Practice for Surprises | Darby & Chloe

Darby had asked Chloe to meet her at the town gardens after Darby got off of work. After finding out that Natalia was losing her hearing, Darby had decided to learn ASL. Then, when she mentioned that to Chloe, she was grateful that Chloe was willing to help her. 

She sat down on a bench after washing up from work. Hopefully Chloe would find her easily. Darby read a book while she waited, trying not to be anxious over how bad of a student she would probably be. Her hands were adept when it came to working with plants, but when it came to other things, sometimes Darby’s coordination was poor at best. Hopefully, Chloe would be patient with her.
