Chlolec /:/ Walker, van de Graff & Pope, LLC and Affiliates Annual Holiday Kick Off

Alec had gotten back maybe ten minutes ago from the jewelry store, he sat there on his bed staring at the brand new engagement ring as it sparkled in the light. He heard the elevator ding and he quickly shut the box, tucking it into a drawer with his socks and boxers covering it. Just in time Chloe came upstairs. "Hey beautiful." he smiled "Has my mom released you from her grasp yet?" he smiled as he pulled her by the waist towards him, kissing her playfully.

"I hate that she has you playing all of these events." he pulled her even closer onto his lap before turning her onto the bed "i don't get any time with my girlfriend." he placed a hand on each side of her head in almost a push up formation, lowering himself he kissed her again.

He brought the kiss to a slow stop, pausing before he spoke. "Have you ever thought about it before?" he rolled to his back, moving his arm welcoming her to cuddle into his side. "Getting engaged, that is. Like would you want to... we wouldn't have to rush to get married, because I agree that at least one of us needs to be done with school first."

Glancing down at her he thought about the ring burning a hole in his sock drawer, What if she says she wouldn't want to get engaged, my mom is expecting me to propose, i bought a ring, holy fuck what the hell was i thinking, shes going to say she doesnt want to get engaged. What the hell id i do "We already act like we are married basically... maybe the idea of getting engaged should be on the table." he shrugged, playing it off.

"Just a thought" he spoke one last thought on it before kissing her once more.

"Tonight will be a lot nicer than the other night. I mean Alexis will be here again but she has to fake nice because her parents and everyone important to her dads business life will be here. Obviously my cousin and lindsey will be here as family and family friends. My mom always lets mitch come and Tanner will be here. We never ended up catching up with him the other night. Oh. And my entire family except Jimmy." he nodded.

"You're wearing the red dress right?" he asked noticing the many garment bags that have been added to his closet, more than the amount of events left. Probably so she had choices.

Chlolec /:/ Thanksgiving Morning

Alec drifted in and out of sleep, it was nice having his parents wanting to dote on Nate so much, neither him or Chloe had to rush out of bed too early to change his diaper or feed him. Now that Anka was in love with the small one as well it was even more help. He rolled to his side, wrapping an arm around Chloe in the process as he kissed her shoulder blade. He traced those kisses to her neck as he felt her squirm a bit. Turning his girlfriend onto her back he hovered over her in the king sized bed.

"Good morning beautiful" he placed a kiss on her lips. "Happy thanksgiving." He smiled. "Now what is it I'm thankful for." an expression of fake thinking appeared across his face. "Ah thats right, I'm thankful for your lips" he kissed her again "I'm thankful for your collar bones" he kissed those "your awesome post baby boobs" he kissed the bits of her chest that were exposed still with a smirk "I'm thankful for your love for me and our son." smiling up at her as he shimmied his body down the bed, placing his fingers on the waistline of her bottoms "And i'm thankful for--" Alec was cut off.

"Alec, Chloe, i need you two to get up and get ready now" He heard his mother through the door as she knocked a bit. There was a faint sound of a coo as well coming from Nate "Anka has bagels and lox with cream cheese and capers out. Plus your father is about to pop a bottle of Moet to go in our mimosas." her voice then changed to a very baby like voice "Daddy is a terrible influence on mommy, keeping her in bed alllllll morning, if we didn't wake up daddy he would sleep until the sun went down" she kissed him as he laughed. "So yes yes, come down when you're ready."

Alec's head bowed in a frustrated defeat as he let out a sigh. Quickly moving he kissed her "Alone time. Soon. Promise." he rolled out of bed pulling on a pair of sweats that read "DARTMOUTH" in large capital letters down the right leg and he pulled on a white tshirt.

Once Chloe was out of bed as well the two made their way down the stairs. Alec with full bed head in tact. "You couldn't manage to brush your hair dear?" Addison spoke as she took a bite very delicately of her bagel while bouncing Nate on her lap with one arm wrapped around him.

"Good morning Mr. Alec" Anka spoke in which alec hugged her and gave her a kiss on the cheek.

"Happy Thanksgiving Anka." he smiled "Tell your family i said the same when you go home in a bit" Walking by his dad who was reading the NY Times not looking up he just spoke 'son. chloe' very distinctly "Happy thanksgiving to you too dad, so glad we had this chat." Alec plopped down next to his mom. Kissing her on the cheek "Happy thanksgiving mom" in a swift motion he took Nate, holding him high above his head "And happy thanksgiving to the person i am most thankful for in my entiiiiiire world" the baby boy laughed as he came down for a kiss from his dad. "Mommy and daddy are soooo thankful for their little man"

William passed the social section to Addison without a word as he continued on to the next session of the newspaper to read about his stocks. A squeal released from her lips "Oh darlings, why didn't you tell me the press was out at your brunch! this is such a good photo. The first candid Time's photo. And on the cover of page 6, above the fold!" She handed the paper cover to Chloe to see {clicky}. "This is wonderfully exciting, everyone's been ringing my phone off the hook all morning asking if you two were getting engaged, i now know why!" She clasped her hands standing up and walking to the tray of glasses filled part way with fresh squeezed orange juice "William, its time to open the champagne!"

Chlolec /:/ Across the Pond We Go. Destination: NYC

Alec shut Wennie's front door and walked to his car, using his front view camera to check for any hickies. None, good. The drive between where Wennie lived and where his dorm was has become so familiar to him that he could practically do it with his eyes closed. As he pulled into the dorm parking lot he checked his time "Forty minutes to shower. I can manage" he smirked to himself. Bro hugging Dillon as he passed him by the smorker station he ran up the stairs and into his dorm room, tidying up and making it look like he had been working on homework. Opening his Russian Lit book and pulling up a previously completed paper, deleting part of it so it looks like he was almost finished when he then hopped in the shower, washing away and remnants of Wennie. As he turned the water off he heard a knock on his door. Alec wrapped a towel around his waist and answered it, to see Chloe holding their son with a bright smile on both faces. Alec leaned down and kissed Nate's cheek and then kissed Chloe on the lips "Just on time, how was mommy and baby yoga?" he smiled at her. (shut up they I decided this was happening haha)
