I went to a Gem City comic-con yesterday in Dayton, OH. Its pretty little, but I had a blast! But after getting asked not once, not twice, but five times by people to let them take a selfie with me, my confidence levels are raging sky high. In fact, it’s almost at the Existence™ level *gasp*. I wasn’t cosplaying or anything. I was just in my usual tank dress and leggings with boots (flannel was in my bag).
A few guys and two girls asked me to flex my arms with them, one girl and her boyfriend asked if I could lift her up “hero style”, as they eloquently put it, and one guy wanted to arm wrestle me while his friend was video taping. He won, but my only excuse is he was honestly built, and it took over a minute! I’m not going to leave out the fact I was wearing a tank top that would count as muscle shirt and tight leggings, but hey, I felt like I looked flaming, honey.
I just regret that I didn’t get any of their contact info, b/c I would have loved to have those photos and the video.
It just feels good to know that I’ve put all this work into building my muscle and people notice!
