TPOF Part 2 (Choice A)

You headed towards the upper level to table four, and placed it in front of a man in a tuxedo. At first glance, you thought he was a lifer - only because they usually seemed to come in monochrome outfits, while ghosts usually gravitate towards more colourful outfits. That would explain your bright pink uniform, and the band's deep reds.

This was why the gentleman in front of you seemed to be a lifer, until you saw the bright yellow dahlia tucked into the folds of his hat. Weird. You swore it wasn't there a few seconds ago. "Good evening, sir." You mumbled, placing the plate in front of him.

Something made you shudder as you told him to enjoy his meal. Like..someone was staring at the back of your head. You looked around, and spotted a woman in a leopard print dress smiling at you. She seemed kind, with crinkly eyes and luscious strawberry blonde hair. You'd never seen her before, but she seemed...oddly familiar. You smiled at her, and then looked at your tray. That's when you realized the Chicken Alfredo was hers.

Was that why she'd been looking at you? Because you had her food? You couldn't really tell.

You walked over, placing her plate down with a smile. She thanked you, and you began to start walking off.

You hadn't gotten very far when the air around you warped, and you found yourself on the floor suddenly.

ii) Call out to see if anyone's near

TPOF Part 5 (Choice A)

You look towards Roxie, not sure how to feel after that very heated encounter. "Sorry. I didn't mean to...upset anyone. It's just… Willie's my best friend. And I can tell he's in trouble. It's a gut feeling. I'm stuck here and he's stuck there and I'm...worried."

Roxie nodded, sitting down and patting the spot next to her for you to take a seat. "I know, Rookie. I think Lori worries about me the same way."

You didn't exactly know how to respond to that, so you just kind of nodded, and she continued. "I'm not… The easiest person to look out for. Trust me, I know. Lori's been through a lot. She's lost too many people to Caleb as is."

You felt another pang in your chest. "That's why you both have to help me. I can't...lose Willie. Please." Your voice cracked.

Roxie gave you a watery smile. "Lucky for you that we're in the business of rescuing people then."

It wasn’t everyday you trusted people, but Roxie and Lori had a certain aura to them that made you feel like you were in good hands. You only hope this feeling isn’t misleading, like it had been with Caleb.

“C’mon,” Roxie gestured for you to follow her. “I think I know where she went,”

“Lead the way,” you replied with a half hearted shrug.

Roxie led you outside. From the outside, BOO HQ was a huge, domed glass building with people filtering in and out at regular intervals. You wondered if lifers could see this place, and what they thought it was.

There was a huge campus around the building, all green and fresh, unlike BOO's dead employees. Trees were sprinkled around the property, and there were picnic benches around as well.

Roxie led you towards one of these benches, where Lorelei was seated with her back towards you.

You and Roxie slipped in on the bench opposite her. Roxie reached out across the table, placing her hand gingerly on Lori's wrist, and offered her a smile. Their eyes met and you could tell everything would be okay.

TPOF Part 3 (Choice A)

"Can I help you?" You were tired from this whole ordeal that just happened. You really were not in the mood for any horseplay right now. 

The woman shook her head, sending long, velvety reddish brown hair flaying around, and eventually settling around her face like a frame. "You can't help me, darling. I'm here to help you." She smiled at you, and suddenly you realized you've seen her before. 

"You're the woman in the leopard print." You say, blinking as your mind finally makes the connection. 

She grins, happy with your realization. "That's me. Special agent Lorelei of the Bureau for Order of the Occult. Or, BOO. We've been trying to uproot the Hollywood Ghost Club for years. Doing it from the outside didn't work. It was time for a new plan." 

You started feeling dizzy, and pressed a palm to your forehead. Your other hand found the wall, trying to keep yourself from tipping over. Lorelei was immediately by your side. "We need to get you to headquarters. They can help you there." 

"N-no" you mumbled. "I have to find Willie…" but she would hear none of it. 

When you opened your eyes, you were surrounded by white marble and large screens. You felt yourself being led somewhere, probably to get checked. 

You heard Lorelei a little behind you, and you could make out the smile in her voice. "Welcome to BOO."

TPOF Part 8 (Choice A)

“Under the stage.” The paper said. You might as well get that out of the way. There was nothing under the stage. You were almost a hundred percent sure of that. You’d been here years. You would’ve noticed if there was. Willie had been here even longer than that. He’d know if something was there too. Might as well make this quick. Skillfully, you glided through the curtains backstage, looking around the floor for a door or entrance of any kind. 

You finally found one and crawled through, only to find… cleaning supplies. Talk about anti climactic.

You noticed a red bow tie on one of the shelves. You couldn’t help but wonder how it got here. It did not look like something Caleb would wear. According to him, velvet had not been in fashion in over a century. He wouldn't be caught dead in a red velvet bow tie. 

“Was it one of the performers?” You found yourself asking aloud. “Even if it was, how’d it get all the way down here?”

The years and years of built up dust made you sneeze, and you decided to get out of the tiny supply closet. 

Making your way back to where Lori and Roxie were seated, you were startled by a yell. It seemed to belong to Colin. Something had thrown him to the ground. You turned around, watching him scramble to his feet when it happened again. 

Something you’d seen too many times. A jolt. Caleb was glaring at Colin, no doubt mentally reprimanding him for making a fool of himself. If the occasion was different you would’ve pulled up a chair with a bucket of popcorn and watched as Colin continued to make a mockery out of his dad’s club, but you were on a mission. 

Your eyes continue scanning the room, and you spot Willie watching Colin flail pathetically. He looked almost amused, and then your eyes meet.

Roxie’s words echo in your head. “Talk to him.”

What did you have to lose anyways? So you began to close the distance between the two of you. 

You watched Willie’s eyes follow you as you made your way up to him. He seemed very...standoffish.

What do you do?

i) try to hug him

ii) say “hey”

iii) ask what’s up with Colin

TPOF Part 7 (Choice A)

The dining hall was the first place you thought of that would make sense. Colin was probably hungry or that the dining hall was really hard to miss. It was big and gathered the largest crowds at BOO HQ, which can be both a pro and a con. Pro being he’ll blend in and con being too many eyes and he will be sniffed out as an outsider.

Rushing into the hall, you scanned around the room for the familiar mop of brown curls. But your efforts were for naught. There were too many agents getting dinner at this time of night. You could barely see anything past the first few lines of people in the crowd.

Taking one last look at the thick crowd, you turned around to try your luck in another room. You were just entering the hallway when you bumped into someone.

"Watch where you're going!" A familiar voice sneered. You were almost relieved to find him.

"Colin." You greeted him curtly, with a not so warm glare. And he said your name with just as much disgust, as a kind of greeting in return.

You looked him up and down. He was still in his sparkling host suit, with his HGC pin on the left side of his chest like always.

Your eyes almost slipped past the second pin in the button hole of his sleeve, but something about it made you freeze.

Colin only had one pin.

And the only person you knew to have another was...Roxie.

In a split second, you found yourself pinning him to the wall with brute force you didn't know you possessed. "What did you do to her?"

You wanted to wipe that smug look off of his face. He looked so satisfied, it infuriated you.

"I thought you'd have connected the dots by now. It's nothing serious, really. Just what my father did to you."

"You took her soul?" Anger bubbled in you like lava waiting to spill out of an active volcano.

What do you do?

i) punch him

ii) use your words, and remind him that no amount of soul stealing will get him his father's love

iii) walk away, and go check on Roxie.

TPOF Part 6 (Choice A)

"NO! That's not him! That's really...not him." You were panicking. Could anyone really blame you though? Roxie had basically kidnapped the son of the dude who owned your soul. This...really wouldn't end well.

"That's...not my friend." You said, voice dimming. "That's not Willie. But I'm not sure if he's my friend anymore either…"

"That's Colin Covington."

"Coving-- oh god." Roxie said with a nervous giggle. "Lori's going to kill us."

“Us? I didn’t kidnap Caleb Covington’s son!”

“But you did sneak away, which caused me to follow you, which resulted in me snatching up the wrong boy.. So, if anything, this is all your fault,” Roxie shrugged nonchalantly.

"You KIDNAPPING someone is my fault?!"

“I was trying to help! Plus, I needed a dance partner” Roxie’s voice raised to match yours. She looked at Colin curiously. "Does this one dance?"

“No, he doesn't,” you sighed. “he doesn’t do much of anything other than bully his dad’s employees,”

“Yuck,” Roxie sneered, placing the bag right back over his head.

“What are you doing?” you asked bewildered. “You’re making things worse!”

“No, I’m fixing this,” Roxie replied. “I’m sending him back,”

“Sending who back?” said the voice of the last person who needed to be here; Lori.

“Uhhhh” you and Roxie stand in front of an unconscious Colin; shielding him away from her line of sight.

"Are you sure you heard her right? She said…."

i) bending your neck.

iii) Making a snack
