this is a 12-page poem i wrote and read in front of my abuser of 6+ for my 11th grade choir final. through symbolism, it tells the stories of three years of emotional abuse. after i read it, one of my friends told me that it was ‘the biggest middle finger to [name of abuser] i have ever seen’. i’m proud of that
