❗️Musings - lengthy post❗️ Sometimes I wonder why people think that God blesses us because we are good. That we can survive our day on ourselves by our own might. Who wakes us up everyday? Who sustains us? Who takes care of us? Who provides for our needs? Who heals us, and so goes the long list. There must be Someone powerful who is able to accomplish those things for us all at the same time. How can a mortal even think or claim he can do all of those for himself? (weird). This tea reminded (the Tita in me) of our awesome, blessed, unforgettable Thailand choir trip last year (with random thoughts of all the good things and the bad / painful both material and the non-material things in my entire existence). So many undeserved miracles with handful humbling challenges to overcome with faith as well. To you self (or to anyone), who fails periodically and aims to bounce back, recollect that we are blessed by God not because we are good but because He is good. Extremely. He has so much love. Unfathomable. His ways and thoughts are way beyond. Beyond this life. So be still, weather in whatever position you are right now, there is a season for everything. Be still. Because there is no fear in love. (repeat1000x). 🙏I must really be getting old or I must be thinking a lot lately.
