Mega long story time

So I was in competition choir in high school. (Nerd) I had this major problem with sounding airy if I was nervous. My teacher says "push on your diaphragm"

"On my what"

"Just bend over slightly and your body will push on it for you"

So this becomes a thing(tm). Every time I'm airy I'm supposed to bend at like a 45 degree angle.

Today in class, we were reading lord of the flies and one of the guys was like 'I should be the leader, I can sing a C#' and my teacher, who knows that I sing all the time asked me if that was a good reason for being a leader. I stared at her stright in the face and was like, 'yes, anyone who can sing a C# is automatically better than everyone' and my friends in choir class lost it.
