Oh come on.

You can’t seriously tell me that a bunch of kids would hear that their classmate defended a place from being robbed by picking up a gun and plugging the robber in the head, and they would shun her and call her names and shit. In my experience, they would hold her up as a goddess of war for doing that. And she’d probably get an article in the paper about her bravery. Would she maybe need therapy for having killed a man at such a young age? Maybe, but this is just cartoonishly evil. No kid is going to pick on someone with a confirmed kill count.

And that’s it for today’s trio of episodes. Wow. There was some shit that went down today. I guess we’re heading deep into the back half of the season, so I’d expect things to be ramping up. There’s actually only 6 episodes left, so two more ChopBlogs and the series is over.

And BOY will I not be sad to see it go.

I was going to make fun of the phrase “cheek by jowl”, but apparently, yeah, that’s a thing. It’s like a more uncomfortable (literally and figuratively) version of “cheek to cheek”.

Still, can we stop with the ham-handed “king/kingdom” metaphors? I get it. The show’s called Guilty Crown. Move on.

Apparently if somebody’s void is destroyed, they go all crystal-y and explode. (that just happened to Crossbow Girl)

So yeah, Bunny’s bandages getting shot by a helicopter last episode actually was icing on the cake when paired with her getting blown up, engulfed in fire, bleeding out, and bruised the hell up.

Hey, I just remembered something. Anybody else remember that one guy from an early episode? Remember, they devoted like an entire episode to breaking this kid out of prison? Silver hair, I think? Supposedly he was a super-dangerous criminal or something?

What happened to that guy? I remember he showed up again in the episode after his rescue, and then...never again. I think he showed up like once in a two-shot with another Tea House member, but that’s it. Who was that guy? Why was he so important? Where did he go? Did the writers just forget about him? What the hell?
