2) the other day I abruptly realized there are several parallels between the Chopper and Hiriluk backstory and LayClaire in Unwound Future (gifting of a top hat by a loved one that ends up worn constantly afterwards; a long-term science project that seems impossible but gets pulled off long after it seems to have been forgotten; loved one being partial influence for a defining character trait (caring for people/being a gentleman); tragic and untimely death of a loved one in a horrible explosion) and now I am cRYING
3) I WOULD LIKE TO PICK UP CHOPPER AND HOLD HIM FOREVER MY LITTLE REINDEER BABY
