The whole day had seen Kael in something of a sour mood (surprise, surprise), and his patience was hanging all too loosely from a rather thin thread. The only thing that was keep him grounded was the cigarette between his lips. Perhaps relying on that was no good but, for the time being, he was too pissed off to care. Had anything specific happened? No, not really. Was he just being pissy? Yeah, just about.
With all that considered, it really wasn’t that surprising that he’d told the clearly lost stranger to piss off. He hardly cared that it seemed rude. Maybe that’d even get rid of them. Fuck, he was getting a headache.
