Before I started to watch YouTube makeup tutorials I thought I was good at putting on makeup.
Inspirations
As creative individuals we often pull inspiration from basically anything. As I'm in mid process of creating a makeup line, and trying to come up with the textures, finishes, colors even what I want the names to be for each individual piece has been like pulling teeth. As a makeup artist I see what we as artist need and look for in a product and to be honest it makes me nervous.... A good nervous! I just want everyone to love each individual thing as much as I do. My biggest daily inspirations come from TheAlexBox, Romero Jennings, Chrisppy. Just to name a few.
YIKES! Just washed my brushes!! 142 BRuSHES!!! 🙀🙀😥😥 that took forever lol. But I gotta keep my money makers clean!! I washed my natural hair brushes with baby shampoo and my cream brushes with Dawn :) I have like 6 of each of my favs. That's why there's so many! I actually only use about 6 brushes to do an entire face! I've gathered these brushes through the Years. I've been doing makeup for 13 years and I still have my first stinky little Mac brush lol. It's one of those yucky ones from the Xmas kits... But I can't get rid of it lol. I worked hard for these things, they're special to me! I know...
