Beware pride starts the fall of many ministries for Christ.
I am a quitting worker
Verse: Luke 16:10-13
I am a christian and I am ready to quit!
Yes, that is right! I am ready to quit my job just to be in the church!
I cannot say i am not happy with my secular job. I trully am! But nothing beats the joy of being in my spiritual place and doing my spiritual job… the church.
I am very sad for the fact that I have been missing a lot of Wednesday prayer meetings! It begets undesirable feelings, like depression and uneasiness, a vacuum space that i know only God can fill!
I am but so close of resigning, willing to lose my awesome high paying job to be A PLAIN worker of the church.
Then….. I have known people who would think the other way around. They would purposely think of ways not to labor in the church. They would be willing to be a plain attender. They want to be a church goer and not a church worshipper. They want to have all the reason and rights to attend only when they want, when they feel like they want! What a very sad thing to know!
I can only pray that you read the passage below. Especially verse 13, “no servant can serve two masters” there is no middle line! Either you stay with God or with the counterpart!
Heed this: “Mediocrity is Uncertainty! -dndserrano”
ARE YOU A QUITTING WORKER? Ok. next question, of whom?
Ponder upon these words.
Luke 16:10-13 He that is faithful in that which is least is faithful also in much: and he that is unjust in the least is unjust also in much. If therefore ye have not been faithful in the unrighteous mammon, who will commit to your trust the true riches? And if ye have not been faithful in that which is another man’s, who shall give you that which is your own? No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.
