My view this morning. FAMILY ASLEEP ✅ COFFEE IN HAND ✅ HOUSE IS QUIET ✅ TIME TO MYSELF ✅ As I get older I’m trying to learn to love the holidays more. It is hard. I grew up in a household with exponentially difficult to achieve expectations for Christmas. I’ve lived life trying to meet those same impossible expectations for my girls. Hopefully this is the year that it will all click for me. Maybe my heart, like the Grinch, is three sizes too small. I believe the desire to want your children’s Christmas to be better than your own can be overwhelming.
