1993. Arthur, early 20s, is studying in Rennes. His life changes when he meets Jacques, a writer who lives in Paris with his young son. All summer long, Arthur and Jacques enjoy and love each other. But Jacques knows that this kind of love needs to live fast.

This film lasts too long for me and some parts I felt were too prolonged. Due to many characters, I felt it complicated to follow all their life stories and relationships at once without it getting mixed up. The film has that romantic/tragic vibe that I could feel was there, but due to the things I mentioned earlier I got bored with it at some point and it all started to seem pretty melodramatic to me so I didn’t connect with the characters all that much.
