Nicelle Beauchene Gallery, on the Lower East Side, currently has an exhibition on view of works by Chris Wiley. Wiley is a artist and writer, who has written essays for exhibition catalogues as well as Frieze Magazine, Artforum.com and Kaleidoscope, where his is the editor-at-large. He has exhibited his work at Marian Goodman Gallery in Paris and MoMA PS1. For his exhibition at Nicelle Beauchene's gallery he is presenting a serious of archival inkjet prints, each with different custom frames. All the pieces in the exhibition are uniform in size and the frames are made of such materials as vinyl flooring, seashells, brick wallpaper and insulation.
