The Chromabot Episodic Battle Formula
Phase I: Another day for our Chromabot heroes as they go about their solar cycle-to-solar cycle function frequenting their high school/secret Autobot HQ, juggle between high school life and combat action patrols for Decepticon bad guys and engage in traditional comedy sketches to take the edge off it all.
Phase II: Decepticon Freak-of-the-Week with locked Outer Shell acting as humanoid size monster and accompanying army of Decepticlone G.R.U.N.T.s show up and make their attack. Our Chromabot heroes answer the call to battle, charge into the scene, bust out their Aggressive ChroMorphers, go go Morphin' Time into their PretendeRanger Battlesuit Outer Shells and get to fighting the Decepticons.
Phase III: Destroyed by the Chromabots, the scrapheap formerly known as the Decepticon Freak-of-the-Week's Outer Shell unlocks and out springs the Inner Robot acting as the Freak-of-the-Week's grown form. The Chromabots unlock their PretendeRanger Outer Shells to reveal the Inner Mech Transformers within, combine to form their Gestalt Mode ChromaSix SpectruMaximus and get right down to the Heavy Metal Giant Robot Warfare.
End Phase: The Chromabots score a super-mega win for the good guys. The Decepticons are one Freak-of-the-Week poorer. The Doomsday Clock is reset. Our Chromabot heroes return to their normal daily routine. Until next episode that is.
