Artist Aaron Farley once found a cache of over 150 large-format negatives in an abandoned skyscraper in St. Louis.
Years later, he rephotographed the negatives and washed them in vibrant colors. Ghostly traces of the original photos fuse with hues that would have been impossible in photography when the negatives were originally shot.
