The long Salazzel tail swished from side to side as she stared at the scientist from a distance. She was fully aware of his situation as a were-pokemon, she had been following him for the last little while, and was rather curious about what he could and couldn’t do and the differences between her situation and his. 

She could always use moves native to the pokemon she was spliced with, and found conversing with pokemon something that came easily, likely because she wasn’t entirely human anymore. On the other side she was affected by things like repel, potions, and other pokemon centered items. She mostly avoided pokeballs afraid to find out if they could capture her. 

Tzila hummed in thought as she started to walk towards the other blond. His physical appearance was affected by the moon, would a Lunatone cause him to spontaneously transform? Would the move Moonlight affect him? So many questions, so little time.

“Excuse me. Are you Doctor Colress? I have some things I’d like to ask you about if your free?”

Tzila looked at the phot for a brief moment before idly going to send a message back

"You're a part of my family" Jay says without a hint of hesitation. It was well known to Tzila by now that he hated his blood relatives and by all accounts never called them "family" so this seemed to bubble out of him coupled with a genuine smile. - Chromaticwolf

There was a certain way Tzila tensed at Jay's words, almost like she wasn’t all too sure how to react to what he just told her. Jay knew what Tzila had been through with her own family and he knew how much family meant to her. Looking down, she grasped at her top and wringing her hands together while she tried to find the right words. Honestly she didn’t fully know she started to cry but she really had. There was nothing she could offer in response verbally so instead she wrapped her arms around Jay and buried her face in his chest while she continued to cry. She clung to him trying to show her appreciation for him through the hug rather then her words. Eventually however, a very weak and heartwarming “Thank you ….Thank you” left her mouth as she hid her face more. She could never say how much she cared for him in return.

Everyone Loves Chests

Tzila stared at the paperwork for a few moments in silence before going to idly flip through it. She’d have to remember to return it before too long but no reason she couldn’t snoop. He’d likely assume she had taken it herself anyway.

Jay. She could remember the day they met fairly well because it really just ended in the other being a slightly embarrassed mess because she was far to forward with what she thought was going on.

He had only recently come to Alola, something she knew simply because she knew everyone on the Island she frequented, and she was considering taking him out on a complimentary tour(In reality she just wanted to see if he had anything worth taking). But she quickly learnt that his eyes where on a different prize, particularly one of the locals who was helping a store owner carry boxes to and from a van. Plus, even by her standards, he was cute. 

So she did what any sane person should do in this situation, she walked up to Jay sat down next to him and started a conversation about how the handyman across the street was fairly good looking. He had promptly started babbling on about how he was just looking for a scientific stand point because of the others muscle-mass. She certainly believed that, if certainly meant not at all. 

After his little tirade of trying to pass off why he was checking the other man out, Jay had asked her who she was, and she was happy to introduce herself, and he did similarly. Afterwards she just decided he was fun to bother and proceeded to do so whenever she got bored, which in turn slowly bloomed into the weird relationship that they had now.
