People in the GA saying that the stranger things fandom is cringy for shipping non-canon ships/making headcanons/just generally participating in normal fandom activities and everybody flooding their comments with different versions of “baby’s first fandom 😢” is actually so hilarious to me.

“They’re not canon!!!! so and so isn’t gay!!! why do yall feel the need to make everything gay!!! etc…” then the first comment is: “awh baby’s first fandom ❤️” I’m cackling every time.

Chronance scenario where Chrissy comes out of her Vecna coma (because she didn’t die fuck that) and it’s not long before she’s confiding in Eddie about her crush on Robin even tho she’s with Nancy. And they have “awww that sucks” best friend time and obviously Eddie doesn’t tell anyone.

But then Steve comes home a week or so later looking shell shocked and tells him that he caught Chrissy and Robin together. They didn’t see him bc he ran but like. What do they do? Like they probably have to tell Nancy but how do they go about it? And Steve’s having a crisis because he didn’t think his platonic soulmate would do something like that and Eddie’s having a crisis because he has to choose between his recently back from the dead bestie and his new bestie.

Turns out they’re working themselves up over nothing and they’re just a trio

Hurt/Comfort: Words Fall Short (Tongue Tied and Lonely) by @thelikesofus (9-1-1 - Buddie - 13,353 words) Misunderstandings, Buck jumping to the wrong conclusions, idiots in love, it's an amazing mix. And the ending is great, fluffy and happy.

Crack: Tea-rrific Advice by Amanita_Fierce, HowOldAreWe, @hullomoon, @n0connections, patientanxiety, @schittposting, @thesleepyskipper, @sunlightsymphony and dairaliz (Stranger Things - 1,084 words - 9:49) Vecna as an agony aunt, it is hilarious. And the podfic is great.
