Recently I rediscovered my fetish for the geological timescale. What you see can also be called a chronostratigraphic scale. You can look up the international chart from 2017 under http://www.stratigraphy.org/index.php/ics-chart-timescale
Basically it gives you an idea when the earth came up and how long it has been there. Up you have the most recent series/epoch the Holocene (in german Holozän) which is the epoch in which we live in and by going downstairs you go backwards time.
This chart is in german but I want to make one in english and also in french.
