so i saw karen olivo in fun home over the weekend and not only was she absolutely incredible as alison but she is also literally the nicest person i’ve ever encountered, she recognized me once i said my name (she knows me from twitter) and gave me a huge hug, as well as came out on sunday specifically to say goodbye to me. she literally my favorite person in the entire world and if you can make it to madison to see her as alison bechdel i cannot reccomend you do enough, as a lesbian the role had already had a huge impact on me and she managed to make it even more magical and special to me.
