Chubby Shadow headcanons. Fuck it

Some of these I’ve mentioned before but at some point it’d just be sort of ‘hardehar fat’ and that’s the opposite of what I’d want.

~Shadow tends to anxiety-eat when at GUN parties- that is, he hangs around the buffet and nibbles on stuff basically all night. (He’ll also do it during snowstorms since he has a Thing about cold weather spurred on by the cryogenic tank on Prison Island.)

~He prefers sweet stuff and having Rouge or Sonic bring over cupcakes after a long stressful day at work is really really nice. They’ll share it.

~He’s not really that insecure about his body once he gets used to it as long as it doesn’t interfere with his missions- and he’d need to get a lot bigger for that to be an issue. (Anyone comments on it, they get The Look.)

~Rouge (and Sonic) both love how he’s not just hard muscle, (although there’s definitely that too) he’s also soft. (Amy and Rouge are both the same- some chub with definite muscle tone underneath.)

~When he volunteers at hospitals and stuff the kids get huggy too, which takes him a bit to get used to. They like his softness too.

~He can still lift like 500 pounds easily. Someone calls him fat and he just grabs the nearest barbell and lifts it effortlessly to watch them sweat.

(and mod HOLY IMPROVEMENT, my gosh, you used to draw them so skinny and could see the sketch lines and not to insult your old work but you've grown sooo much and it's really nice to see)
