if they stop too long , they might think of the terrors of one specific anomaly . the same that they lost connor to , the same they lost sarah to as well . at least connor has come back , & now comes the task to mend broken hearts instead of gaping wounds . good thing that's not their area of expertise . maybe it isn't a good thing , maybe they'll just never know .

task at hand is easy enough , needs to track someone down for their mandatory hour . as if mandatory has ever been a reason for anyone to sit with her at all . admittedly , one of the security staff is the elusive one today , will make a note in their record if this keeps up longer than fifteen minutes .

dog trotting beside her gives smiles for the both of them . should try to be more approachable , but then again , she's never not worn determination on her features . gets the job done , really . catches sight of ruby , barely makes out her gesture . good luck . ah , so she's familiar with this song & dance too .
