so once upon a time, it was pokemon go community day. I went there with a couple of friends, hoping to catch some shinies and 4* pokemons. but you see, when we got to the site (which was a shopping mall) one person’s phone basically bugged out and couldnt open pokego. it was hard to have multiple people troubleshooting a single tiny phone at once, so i left it to my other friendo and looked around.
By chance, we were right in front of this random ass toy shop and from the corner of my eye, i spot him: a nyanko sensei banpresto plushie.
This was for sale for like. 15 bucks. there was only one left. i grabbed it, of course. but you see. I forgot something.
I forgot we were here for community day, and that means i’m carrying a handbag that is just enough for our phones, wallets, and a portable charger.
This doll? this doll is HUGE. it’s 36 cm..... in HEIGHT. It’s probably around 45-50cm long. this guy was a MASSIVE chonker. I would have carried him normally, but i need one hand free to operate pokemon go.
So I did what i could. stuffed poor sensei into the bag the best i can, but of course it doesn’t do much. instead of being *in* the bag, he’s practically sitting on the bag. And then, of course, i spent three hours walking around with this massive chonker of a cat plushie sticking out of my bag while looking for shiny pokemons. i looked stupid of course and folks were staring. Moving around was inconvenient as fuck, and my arms hurt like hell being held in place in a weird way like that for 3 hours but i think it was worth it?
but yeah. anyway, i have a massive nyanko plushie now. i did not get a shundo chandelure but that’s fine.
